ABOUT US

Planning is part of the build.

Detailed preconstruction, local experience, and longstanding trade relationships.

Steele Construction Group grew out of 25 years of owning, renovating, and operating San Francisco properties. That background gives us a different perspective from a typical contractor: we think about the building, the budget, the construction decisions, and the property’s long-term performance together.

Before pricing a project, we work through the scope, construction sequence, quantities, selections, allowances, and known risks. Our estimates take more effort to prepare because they are intended to be a working plan—not simply a number used to win the job.

We have extensive experience with San Francisco permitting, ADUs, structural alterations, foundations, historic buildings, and occupied multifamily properties. Many of our subcontractors have worked with us for years, giving our projects continuity and a team that already knows how we operate.
